There's a lot of things I really like about Drupal. That said, I'm reaching my limit with it...
I've been trying to update the blogs module to do two things: allow a user-configured blog title, and allow user-configured, or at least admin-configured, head elements.
So far, it sort of works sometimes. When I'm logged into FOB, both my patches seem to work. When I'm logged out, the title always falls to the default in some completely mysterious fashion, and the admin-configured headers are only displayed if I hit the blog page by name instead of uid. Weird. I can't seem to see it in the source, either.
I'd be more proactive in asking for help, except that first I would want to upgrade to the latest Drupal, and I'm afraid to touch it.
I dunno. Maybe I'll just move this blog elsewhere, and put a pointer to it here. Might save quite a lot of grief.
