My dear wife is currently in the operating room getting her gallbladder removed. I type this courtesy of the hospital's public 802.11 network. How weirdly cool to have this resource available. They also have pagers so you can wander around the hospital.
With any luck, we'll all be home tonight.
I've noticed that stress makes me sleepy. Everything is expected to go well. I'm going to take a nap now.
Update: It's all good. The surgery was a success. I slept through the whole operation—as did she, I imagine. I'll get to see her in about 20 minutes.
