It is well understood that the English plural of any word that ends in -us is -ii. It's like Pig Latin, only less sophisticated. I've been on hiatii lately…
I'm going to try to catch up and blog about my trips, and about a number of other things. But I'm also going to try to set a more realistic blogging schedule.
It's becoming clear to me that blogging daily isn't going to happen. My life is just too busy. What I can do, it looks like, is to blog twice a week. I'm told that one's readers are happier if one posts on a known schedule.
I thus hereby declare Monday night and Thursday night at 1PM my time to be update times for Project Resolution: Bart's Blog at FOB. I am going to try to set up some mechanism so that queued content gets autoposted at these times, and to build up a queue of posts.
We'll see if I can make this work, but I feel like just giving up isn't an option, so I need to figure out what is. A buffer can't match rates, but it can sure smooth jitter. I'll try to get a jitter smoothing mechanism in place, and to recover this blog a bit. Stay tuned—or not, as you like. (B)
