Several days ago, someone offered to point me at a working driver for my ancient ATI video card.
Stenciled on the board are the words:
ATI 3D PN 109-43100-00 ver 2.0 |
There are two ICs which seem to have useful text stenciled on them:
3D Rage Pro AGP 2x 215R3BUA22 BAX62 9750AA |
The other chip says:
XCLAIM VR PRO 43101 |
The board was sold under the name "XClaim VR Pro" if that helps.
My only reason for wanting to use this card is the beautiful video input it produced under Mac Classic OS. It has both RCA and S-video inputs which were totally professional quality with a camcorder. I can't find a reasonably-priced replacement which works under OS X.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me track down an OS X driver for this beautiful peice of history, or at least a Linux driver that I can somehow coerce into working under OS X.
Cheap ideas for replacement functionality are also welcome.
